From check in to check out the staff were amazing. It was very busy when we arrived and got through check in very quickly and an added bonus we had an upgrade to the most amazing room. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Great location everything within walking distance. Breakfast in the hotel was very good, a good choice with happy friendly staff. Five star rating

Great staff, beautiful hotel, the location was perfect for walking around and exploring downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, and catching a Sea Bus over to Granville Island. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but I did enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar- great service.

Good but expensive

It was well located from my business location, the room was clean (bedding, bathroom), staff was nice (especially the cleaning crew), food was good but too expensive (6$ for 1 egg...). The room had a strong smell which was disturbing. Could have spray perfume bottles in rooms.

~Amazing stay in the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Reception staff were extremely friendly and caring to make our stay as comfortable as possible, thank you. The room was big and beautiful, we had a great nights sleep and it was super peaceful. The hotel is huge and airy with loads of seating areas to relax and have a chat. We hotel provided 2 hrs of courtesy bike rental with their partner close by, we enjoyed it so much we paid for another 2 hours to explore this amazing city...Stanley Park and beyond was beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated to explore this wonderful city, and very close to the Cruise Port Terminal at Canada Place for our trip to Alaska. Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Carmel & James (Ireland)

Friendly staff, beautiful accommodations and restaurant and bar was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and hallways were decorated beautifully. The parking was a little confusing, but we were assisted by a doorman who directed me to the lot.
